CHCO Scholarship

We are pleased to announce a $500 scholarship available to a student of a CHCO family. The scholarship may be used by a graduating high school senior for costs relating to a two-year college, four-year university or trade school.

How to apply:

If you’re not a member already, click on this link to download the membership form. Complete the form and send it to the address listed at the bottom.
Have your scholar volunteer for at least two hours at any CHCO event.
After completing the two hours of volunteer work send an email to mem@castlehillscommunityorganization.org containing the following information:
a. The date, event and hours volunteered
b. The student’s name, contact information and graduation date
c. The name and contact information of the CHCO member
d. The proposed school(s) of choice

To be eligible, the graduating senior’s family must be a current family member of the CHCO. Business memberships are not eligible.
The scholarship amount contributed by the CHCO will be at least $500. Additional funds may be raised to either increase the amount or fund multiple scholarships.
The senior’s graduation date should fall during the spring semester of the award drawing, or the summer or fall preceding it.
The student must plan to attend an accredited educational institution for high school graduates, such as a two-year college, four-year university, or trade school.
The senior must have contributed at least two hours of volunteer service at a CHCO event within the twelve-month period preceding the award deadline.
The application should indicate when the student completed their volunteer hours.
If more than one student qualifies, the scholarship winner will be decided by a random drawing in late April or early May.
